The Fall Nut Sale is from mid-October to mid-December.

October, 2009, Bagging Nuts!

Well established since 1981, sales of nuts, snack mixes and dried fruits has been a major Quota fundraiser during October, November and December each year.  Due to a reputation of high quality and fresh products, sales have increased over the years from almost 2,000 pounds to over 6,000 pounds 2009.

 Quotarians purchase bulk nuts and snacks from John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. in Elgin, IL and volunteer numerous hours packaging them in rooms at Kimball Ridge Center provided by Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, IA.

When you make a purchase from any Waterloo Quotarian, 100% of the profit is returned to the community, more than $13,000 being raised in 2009.  If you would like more information, please contact Marcy at mjh1943@gmail.com.
