Our Annual Benefit Brunch has taken many forms over the years, but 2009 was our 60th Benefit Brunch!
With a theme of "Spice Up Your Life with a Dash of Quota", the 60th Benefit Brunch was a huge success!
34 Quotarians and 36 additional volunteers (spouses, friends, family members, etc.) worked to serve wonderful food. 799 tickets were sold, and 647 patrons were served. Total profit for the event was $5,321, all of which will benefit our service projects listed under "What We Do" next year.
All the proceeds from the brunch help support our service projects. In addition, the brunch gives us visibilitiy in the community. A Waterloo police officer is generally present to hand out books from our Cops-N-Kids program to attending children.
It is both fun and rewarding to all work together on a successful project that we know allows us to give to so many worthy needs in the community.
